Dear GARUDA partner,

We take pleasure in inviting you to attend the "Fifth GARUDA Partners Meet", which will be held on May 20th & 21st 2010 at Clarks Exotica, Bangalore.

This meet will provide a forum to gain invaluable insights for collaborative initiatives in Grid computing. The National knowledge Network (NKN) has now enhanced the power of GARUDA and we invite partners to participate, and handle more challenging applications with the enhanced power of GARUDA in the current phase. We are happy to inform you that GARUDA - the national grid computing initiative has made substantial progress including migrating to the NKN in many locations. It is time now for all of us to meet, discuss the progress, share our viewpoints, case studies, experiences, and explore new technologies to take GARUDA to the next level of the operational phase.

The agenda for the meet will include a series of presentations and discussions focusing on development and deployment of applications on GARUDA. Please also note that necessary arrangements are being made for a comfortable stay at the event venue for two members from your institute.

We reiterate our belief that with the collaboration / partnership of premier institutions like yours, we can together unleash a comprehensive national grid initiative, which can act as a catalyst to lay the foundation for scientific experiments on an unprecedented scale.

We look forward to having you with us during the meet to share your experiences on the GARUDA - National Grid Computing Initiative.
